Quick question,
does the file SourceCode.EventBus.ClientRecorder.dll.mailTemplate run from the bin folder in which it resides?
Reason why I am asking is that I want to use images inside a custom copy of the template, if the file runs from this location then adding a folder with images here should work as long as I keep a backup for post upgrades.

If you decide to use images in your email template, those images will have to be on an accessible location such as an website so that they can be renedered by the mail client as the mechanism for sending those messages does not support embedded images. Other than that caveat, you are correct in your thoughts about how to add images to the default email template.

Base64 encoded the images in the end and it seems to work fine on a standard email notification, will try client notifications and feedback.
