I've got a SharePoint list with 4 columns (c1, c2, c3, c4). These columns populate four dropdown boxes (dd1, dd2, dd3, dd4) in the InfoPath form by using a SmartObject (unique entries). The dropdown boxes are configured cascading --> if you select a value in dd1, all possible values for dd2, dd3 and dd4 are loaded. if you select a value in dd2, all possible values for dd3 and dd4 are loaded (the same for dd3). Everythin works fine.
My problem: the SharePoint list contains about 4000 entries. So opening the InfoPath form lasts much to long (~20-30 secs) because all values are loaded. Moreover, changing the first or second dropdown boxes also lasts about 10-20secs...
Does anyone know how to "tune up" that problem? In that way the form won't be used by anyone...
