SP 2010 Compatibility Mode Install

We are currently in the process of upgrading our SharePoint 2010 environment to 2013. We've set up a 2013 site collection in SP 2010 compatibility mode and are attempting to activate K2 features for sharepoint in that environment, but we are receiving an error stating that an error occured when trying ot update the Group Provider: Login faild for user 'NT AUTHORITYANONYMOUS LOGON'.
Resolution
When attempting to run the K2 Features Activation wizard to reactivate the K2 features to a site collection, it appears to try to perform a solution deployment of the process portal solution but never completes. We cancelled this jobs, and re-ran the K2 for Sharepoint configuration wizard. This prompted for the starting of the Sharepoint timer service and Sharepoint Admin service. After doing so, proceeding with the wizards and performing a "Update All" successfully the K2 Features Activation wizard ran successfully against different web applications.
