Questions marks in Workflow Emails

Hi All,

 

I'm experiencing questions marks in emails sent by the workflow.  If the email is sent to Outlook the question marks don't show.  But the email is sent to our helpdesk system which processes the email and shows the questions marks.  How can I get rid of the question marks?  See example below:


Exclusion category: Training Room Computer??

Justification: Test Please assign then close.??

Does the value of Training Room Computer come from a list field or variable?

Yes both values come from a list field.

Ok cool. What is the type? A single line of text? Trying to rule out HTML confusions

Yes it is single line of text.  However, I am getting the question marks on all fields regardless of type.

I know it's extra steps, but have you tried copying the fields to variables, and putting the varibles in the email instead of the actual list look up fields?

I just did and that got rid of the question marks!  Thank you!
