Resolution

Open the Source folder of the K2 blackpearl Setup Manager ( where it was run from ). Rename the Product.config file to Backup_Product.config. Then rename the Patch.Product.config to Product.config and the run the Setup.exe. This will force the installer into patch mode, and only apply the relevant changes without overwriting any environment settings. Please change the files back to original names once installation has completed.
