Symptoms
Out of Box attachment url ("Link to item") for a custom SharePoint 2013 List is displaying repeated relative URL of the subsite.
Diagnoses
The following steps were taken to reproduce the issue.
- Create a subsite on a wildcard site collection. I used portal - https://portal.denallix.com/ - it will be https://portal.denallix.com/sites/[YourSiteCollection]/[YourSubSite]
- Create a SharePoint 2013 List
- Click on K2 Application from the list ribbon to generate SmartObjects and Forms.
- Add a workflow (K2 for SharePoint workflow, not K2 studio workflow). Start manually option is selected.
- The workflow has one SmartForms client event that assign task to the originator. Set Form to "display form" on "specify the form for this User Task".
- Add list item (with an attachment).
- Start the workflow manually by clicking on "K2 Workflows" for the list item added.
- Open the task assigned to the user by selecting Open form from worklist item.
- When the form opens scroll down to the Attachments section, hover-over an attachment, at this stage you should see a repeated /sites/[YourSiteCollection]/sites/[[YourSiteCollection]].
The workflow is not really an important part, you can simply run "Get Attachments" method of your list attachments SmartObject. You will notice that 'Link to Item' URL is incorrect.
Resolution
There is a coldfix for this issue. Please log a support ticket.
