Not able to create a Service Type
Diagnoses
I reinstalled K2 on our development server. I'm trying to set up our custom service brokers using the Broker Management tool. When I try add a service type and point to location of the dll I get this message.
"Could not load file or assembly or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded."
I'm using the same code and assemblies that were being used.
Resolution
Please try to register the Service Typeassembly using the "Smartobject Service Tester Tool.exe" located at "C:Program Files(x86)K2 blackpearlBin". This tool will achieve the same functionality.
It may be this custom assembly was built on a newer runtime than what the "BrokerManagement.exe" tool supports. The Service Type was successfully registered using the Smartobject Service Tester Tool.
