Hi all -
I posted a reply to another thread looking for a MySQL Service Broker/Connector.
Assuming we can find/develop one, I have a design question regarding DB read/write of metadata (from a SmartForm) within a K2 Workflow:
Is it more efficient to write/read metadata - for example (from the SmartForm) - to a "temporary" K2 SQL Database, until a certain point in the workflow, and then write all the K2 SQL metadata once to the MySQL DB?
--OR--
Is K2 performance-efficient enough to avoid the SQL DB, and just have K2 read/write directly to the MySQL DB (while in the workflow) through an appropriate MySQL connector?
(NOTE: This question is not necessarily specific to any certain type of connector; it could apply to any, really...)
Thanks!
