I have a long running process, currently running 15+ hours. At this point it has made it through 547 of the 12333 items it needs to process.
I am seeing that over time the activity duration gets longer and longer. In the beginning, the activities are running in 0-1 second; however, towards the end they are running in 18-20 seconds.
The specific activity is a Server Code event that calls a WCF service. The service execution time remains consistent in less than 200 milliseconds. I noticed in one activity I looked at it took 11 seconds, the event took 7 seconds.
I stopped the process, and at this time it has kicked off 12227 Activity Instances in the K2 Server Log. Also, I can no longer use the ViewFlow on this process. I get an error stating that a conversion to Int16 failed or something. Not the exact error, but close.
Obviously, I'm hitting some sort of limit that is causing performance issues. Any thoughts?
