Starting K2 Connect Administration in a different account

Symptoms


Unable to start the K2 Connect Administration tool with a new account with error:

Cannot open database "K2Connect" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user '[USER]'.
Please specify the Sql Connection string.
 

Diagnoses


The new account needs to have the required security permissions on the K2Connect database
