Hi,I'm using K2 blackpearl 0807 with 4.8210.2.330.

I was successfully built a smartobject in the K2 development server.

When I try to move it to the production server, I got the following error message.

"Deploy smartobjects: Task error: SmartObjectServer Exception: Communication with the underlying transaction manager has failed. SmartObject: 'Approval_Tbl'"

Can anyone give me any idea what it's about?

Thanks.

You need to enable MS Distributed Transaction Coordinator on all K2 servers and the SQL Server in your production environment according to the instructions  in the "Getting Started Guide".

Yes, I did install and start the MSDTC service in both K2 and SQL server, but I didn't restart the SQL server after enabling DTC. I've heard that it is required to restart the SQL server after a fresh install of MSDTC, is it necessary?
