I have a Nintex form that has a plain text multiple line column. When the user adds a new line or carriage return all my custom javasript errors out as there is a bug in Nintex with the new line.
Any work arounds? I have a custom save and update button so I cannot enable rich text. Does the new versions of Nintex fix this issue?

When you create a new column in a SP List, the default for a multiline text box is Rich Text. If you go with
that and then later change to a plain text option after the creation, this causes the issues mentioned above.
So to resolve my problem, I create a new column and before creating it I change the option to plain text. I then copy the data over to the new column and replace the field in the Nintex form.
