I don’t think this is possible at the moment. When a role is created in Workspace it is not present in the db as far is know, until you use it in a process and physically deploy it.

I've always created it manually myself in the K2 Workspace across the different enviornments which is a pain.
I ran across this unsupported utility on the K2 Underground but haven't used it in a long time so you'd need to verify that it still works with the latest versions if you want to use it: http://www.k2underground.com/groups/role_migration/default.aspx
