Symptoms


The following error messages are being logged when trying to create exchange task with exchange management SmartObject.
1) Exchange service failure: Cached EWS URL is not valid or server unreachable.
2) 10702 An error occurred in the Exchange Management Service Instance. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Autodiscover Failure: The Exchange server is not available, the password is incorrect or the e-mail address {0} does not exist.
3) 28083 ServerEvent: Message: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Autodiscover Failure: The Exchange server is not available, the password is incorrect or the e-mail address {0} does not exist. ServiceName: Exchange Management ServiceGuid: xxxx-xxx-xxx InnerExceptionMessage:
 

Diagnoses


Exchange management service instance was setup to use Alias email address. This confirmed via Office365 Exchange admin console?s Users andgt E-mail Options.
 

Resolution

Changing the default SMTP-reply email to the corrected email address resolved the issue.
Sample steps below:
1.Sign in to the Office 365 portal.
2.In the header, click Admin.
3.Under Exchange Online, click Manage.
4.In the left pane, click Users andamp Groups, and then click Mailboxes.
5.In the list of users, select the user to whom you want to add an alias email address, and then click Details.
6.Expand E-Mail Options. A list of user?s email addresses is displayed.
7.Select corrected one and make it as default replied email address.
