Change Status field to Approved

Hi,


 I need some help. I have a list with some hardware ans software requests. This list has a Status field that must keep the status of the request (Pending approval, Approved, Declined etc.). How can I maintain this field during a workflow, update the field depending on the current activity in the workflow?

You can use the SharePoint list item event to easily add/change/delete list items in your process.  It is very common that SharePoint lists are used as status indicators.
