I am unable to update the external content type columns associated to SharePoint document library, because these columns are not available as the input property for the smart object. Need your help on this issue

Which version of SharePoint are you using? When Microsoft released SharePoint 2013, they changes a good deal of the underlying mechanics of the program, so K2 was forced to remove some functionality as we were unable to access information as we were before. If you are using SharePoint 2013, then, it is probable thatwe are no longer able to do this if it is not in the input properties of the SmareObject.
