Mail Event Problem

Dear Expert,

 

Our K2 Server suddenly has problem, it can't send email (before it is fine).

we have some workflow using email event and the workflow got an error when send email.

 

here is the error that i found in workspace error's profile.

 

Source : MailEvent

Description : Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.dll' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.

 

We also try to make a test by using new workflow and just make an email event. but it's not work. still the same error.

 

Is there anyone know what's going on with the email event, and let me know how to fix this problem.

Firstly, I would check that the dll actually exists n the K2 servers. Just do a search for that dll in the K2 server. If it existx, check the permission on that file so that the servce account has read permission on the dll. (Maybe this has changed)

As a followup to someone's reply -- Here's a reference document that may be useful regarding the Microsoft.Excahnge.WebServices.dll: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn528373(v=exchg.150).aspx 

 

Along with that, since the "28039","CouldNotConnect","K2ClusterServer.CheckRunning" seems to be popping up a ton -- is there a uninstalled K2 server that may still be being referenced? You may find old server references in the following tables:

 

[K2].[HostServer].[Server]
[K2].[Server].[Server]

You can remove any erroneous references from the two tables then restart the K2HostServer service on all other K2 servers in the farm.
Please note: Make a backup of those two tables (or preferably your entire K2 DB) first if you choose to try this.

I did all your suggestion, but still same problem.

my shopos blocking the Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.dll, i don't know why, maybe i try to much mailing for testing so shopos suspicious it as spammer or something.

 

 

But for anyone who get this error hopes my information can help you.
