I'd like to do a union of 2 task lists that are the exact same content type from SharePoint. The lsts are in 2 different sites, bot are child of a root site. The goal is to allow a person to view all tasks assigned to them in the parent site.

Example:

  • User has 2 tasks assigned in ChildSiteA
  • User has 3 tasks assigned in ChildSiteB
  • User will see 5 tasks in 1 view of smartView/Form on root site

Hi Peter,

Do you already tried to put the K2 Worklist in one page of your SharePoint site?
Please, try to create a new page on your SharePoint site. Then create a new webpart and choose the worklist of K2.
I think that the K2 worklist has all the activities assigned to the logged user.

Best Regards

Hi Oscar,

Task list was used as an example. I uess I should have said employee list. I have 2 employee list that are the same conetnent type, but are in seprate sub sites (for security). I'd like to create a smartForm with a search box and be able to return records from both lists. I've found out how to do the ADO query, but can find how to call and ADO query from a smartAnything.

Example ADO query:

SELECT * FROM employListA
Union SELECT * FROM employListb

employListA has 6 records

employListB has 11 records

the view should show all 17 records. I still haven't ben ablre to solve yet, but thanks for replying.
