My short answer would be: Not Recommended.
The K2.net 2003 Workspace was designed for users to interact with already running workflow processes and Report on these running and completed processes.
If you customize the K2.net 2003 Workspace, all your customization will be lost during future upgrades.
I fail to see the purpose of such a customization. Can you please supply us with a typical example of why you would want to do this?
If the user has already got access to the K2.net 2003 Workspace, you might as well create a separate application for users to start a new workflow process.
