We have recently come across an issue with Workflow not starting (internal status is "not started") but they run actions in the workflow.
They get stuck in the workflow and we are struggling to find out what is causing the problem and also how we can terminate them.
We've tried to terminate them but nothing happens - they seem to be stuck in limbo.
Any help is greatly welcome.
For my list I had deleted it as I got too frustrated with it. I have restored it and re-published the workflow which is why it shows "deleted association".

It happened me sometimes, when I had a lot of instances running.
That information, once the servers get free resources, is deleted.
I suggest you to write to email@example.com and provide them your tenant information to be monitored.
