Workflow start only when document is changed (no metadata change)

Hi everyone

My workflow runs by modifications on a document library.

But in my case I want to different (with condition in the workflow, ... or any other workarround) between a modification in the document (upload new file into the library as a new version and/or changes in a office document) and the modification of metadata.
In both cases the SharePoint library creates a new version and the WF starts - and I have no attribute to different between a "Content Document change" and a "Metadata Change".

I hope this is understandable ;-)
Can someone help in this case or have had the same issue?

Kind regards,
Reto

@reto_siegenthal if you want to capture on a metadata change, you can set the start condition on specific fields that would be changed so that it triggers on those. Else you will run into this issue because SharePoint doesn't distinguish between the two directly.

If your logic is sound, when the workflow executes on a change, if none of the conditions are met it should just complete without doing anything.
