Nintex Responsive Form text field required if someone selects value from the choice field

Hi,

I have SharePoint list with the below mentioned fields.

1. Choice control field name"Special Software" 

2. Multi line text field name "Permission needed for Special Softawre"

My requirement is if someone select any options from the Special Software field, I want to make Multi line of text field required. If user selects no value from the Special software field, then multiline of text should be not required.

Note: I am using the latest responsive forms for office 365.

Using a Choice control means that in the rules you have to list each case explicitly in the rule and connect them together via "or" (by clicking the plus sign icon in the middle of the line and NOT at the far right)


 


If you change the control to be a List Lookup (with Display type as "Radio buttons" and Alignment as Horizontal then it most resembles the default view of a Choice control that you can now update the choices in the form by simply adding more items in the lookup list that the List Lookup control is referring to AND you don't have to remember to update the rule that is show above.


So now the rule below is good for all cases!
