I think this is a known issue but I am not sure if it has been resolved. I am using smartform version 4.6.11 (4.12165.1732.1). I have a drop-down list control which is bound to the smartobject data source for popluating the list from the backend MSSQL database table. One of the list value has &, for example R&M. I select this value in the form and also save in data-field. However, it saves as R&M . When I load the form with previously selected value stored in the data-field, I can see that its value changed and does not find in the data-source. Please help how to handle this situation.
