Hi everyone

On friday, an update has been done on our sharepoint 2013 server and since I have some workflows which are in progress but they met some errors:

25/02/2019 10:46ErrorWorkflow_xxx failed to run.
25/02/2019 12:01ErrorWorkflow_xxx failed to run.
25/02/2019 12:06ErrorWorkflow_xxx  failed to run.
25/02/2019 12:11ErrorWorkflow_xxx failed to run.

So as you can see my workflow is on error and I tried to run but each time is failed to run but my progress is still in progress (and not in error)
But only some instances are on error; some WF continue to run without any problem

I also did a modification on this to do a test but it is impossible to publish it, when I tried I got the following error message:

202i5F548D108151A339.png
As it is not very readable, this i a part of the error message:

ServerServer was unable to process request. Failed to publish workflow: :CompiIerError Line: "-I " Column: "-I " Text: "Type System.CodeDom.Code8inaryOperatorExpression is not marked as authorized in the application configuration file

Any idea of How could I debug my workflow without restaring them and how to be able to publish my new workflows?

Thank you for your help

Regards

Jon

Thank you for your quick feedback
I have done a IISReset but now my workflows are on error wiith the following message:

25/02/2019 14:45Workflow CommentError in task. Unauthorized attempt to update workflow task by i:0#.w|. The response has not been recorded.Error
25/02/2019 14:45ErrorUnauthorized attempt to update workflow task by i:0#.w|. The response has not been recorded.
25/02/2019 14:45ErrorAn error has occurred in Workflow_RfE_RfP.

So after each update my worklflow should failed and I'll have to restart them?

have you installed respective update?

have you noticed the link in comments?

update (usually) shouldn't cause workflows to fail.
