i need to know if the the process audit data erased after a period of time say 1 year after comleting the process or it remains in the k2 log database forever??

All the process data (for auditing as well as normal data) is kept in the K2Log database indefinitely, no data is ever "expired". The only exception would of course be if you do archival on the Log database, but then the data is also not deleted, it's just moved to another data store.
