Hi.

In K2 2003 we had the DataField import wizard to quickly generate common process datafields. Does this feature exist in Blackpearl? I can't find it.

Unfortunately, as far as I know it doesn't exist in K2 blackpearl.  It's too bad since that feature made working with parent and child processes a lot easier when they shared a lot of similar data between them.  I guess the counter argument is that its recommended to use SmartObjects.  That way there shouldn't be much data in the processes themselves, only unique IDs that the parent and child processes use to query SmartObjects.

If someone is looking for an idea for a blackmarket project, this wizard sure would be handy!

Yes, this would be a good project for the Backmarket.

I have discussed this with one of the K2 developers. They believe that this is not a necessary feature, since we can now use the BlackBox to keep all process data.
