Checking Current User in SharePoint group

Team ,

I have been working in K2 for SharePoint (2016) . I need to check whether logged in user is present in particular SharePoint group, so I am using SharePoint Helper Method and it returns the boolean value (True/False).

 

If a new user is added to SharePoint group, it takes 8 Hours to reflect.so the added user unable to access the functionality (Ex: Hide/Show) for the particular time period (8 Hours).

 

Could you please suggest us any solution to fix this issue asap.

Hi K2A,


 


The behavior is by design as this is the default identity cache timeout value before K2 will refresh identities and containers.  I would suggest that you do a group sync after the new user has been added to the sharepoint group.  I ahve added a link on how to do this below.
