Tasks list instead of workspace welcome screen

Hello,

is it possible (if yes then how) to show tasks list instead of workspace welcome screen? I mean if all the task of all applications that you can see in your Inbox folder can be shown instead of welcome screen? I know how to manage custom workspace, but I do not know how to put the Tasks list to be shown in the workspace, as you can see in attachment.

Thanks for you answers.

Hi there  @MarekKovalcik

I dont think what you want to do is possible.

But I think there is some sort of a workaround for you to get Tasks on your dashboard of workspace with the following steps.

  1. Make a form with worklist control, when done checkin and run the form then copy the url link of the form

  2. Then navigate to management>users>Custom Workspace, then add a new custom workspace

  3. When you get to link in the configuration select web URL and paste the Url of the form you just made and set the Custom workspace you made to Default.

  4. From there when you go to your workspace you will get your tasks just like on the attachment "Community2" I attached.

You can have a look at How to create a custom workspace on the link below.

Hello MarekKovalci

Please note that the K2 Workspace (or K2 Management) landing page always shows the Welcome screen like in the image you attached. Task List: https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/K2Five/UserGuide/5.3/default.htm#K2-Management-Site/User_Management/TaskList.htm%3FTocPath%3DAdminister%7CK2%2520Management%7CUsers%7C_____3. “End user needs to redirect the worklists to a different user - what rights are required to be given” - https://community.k2.com/t5/K2-Five/End-user-needs-to-redirect-the-worklists-to-a-different-user/td-p/113431.

Look at the following for alternatives:

Custom Workspaces (and How To: Create a Custom Workspace): https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/K2Five/UserGuide/5.3/default.htm#K2-Management-Site/User_Management/Workspaces.htm,

Using the Worklist Control on a Form: https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/K2Five/UserGuide/5.3/default.htm#Use/WorkListForm.htm.
