How to translate K2 smartform label/watermark/dropdown values to other language

We have designed a smart form in English language and during form load we are showing in the english language.

We have added few buttons in the form called  french , spanish and Swedish.

Based on the button click we have to change the labels /watermark /drop down values/headertext to other language.

 

I have downloaded set language control from K2 community http://community.k2.com/t5/K2-blackpearl/Multilingual/ba-p/1049  and kindly help me proceed on next steps.

Kindly let me know if there is any other option to achive above requirement.

Hello Ramesh,

 

I would like to know what language requirement do you need support on K2 applications? The reason why i'm asking is, K2 has offically supported K2 language pack currently bundled with 12 languages.  You can refer to below link to check if the language you are looking for is already part of the K2 language or not.

If the language isn't there in the offically supported list, then you can still make your K2 forms supported with your required language using community supported "Set Language" control. 

 

The steps to enable and deply Set language control is very well documented by Control owner Adam Castle and you can find the documentation as part of the control download.

 

If you are looking for enabling K2 forms specifically with Arabic suported, then there is a custom solution with Right to Left supported (RTL) that i have built using Set Language Control. I have blogged about the solution and you can find more details on the below link.

Thank you so much Prajwal_Shambhu. My requirement is to convert to spanish language by button click event.

 

I have downloaded the set language control dll and exe from K2 community. I didn't see the documention for the setup and deploy. could please help on this. Below place i downloaded the set language control files.

I hope Installed Set Language custom control in your k2 environment

Once you have the control drag and drop the control in the designer and in the properties add the resource file of your required language.

set the default culture.

Enable/Check the required fields like watermark/label/dropdown/data/filter/bottons in the Translate General Control option available in properties.
