The registration is probably done manually and the postings are automatically generated.
We are looking into this.
Believe me, it's even more frustrating for us. I just cannot understand that there are actually people out there with nothing better to do than to spam our forum...

This is getting worse. The spammer seems to be using an automated program that traverses through the forums and post randomly.
Some forum has a human readable graphical picture that you have to type in to register or post.

yes I agree it is really annoying. What about limiting access to the forum to those who actually also have access/account to the K2 Portal. I know this may be is a bit against information sharing in the internet but...

Hope by introducing human readable graphical picture feature during posting of msg solves the problem.
