Hi Bill, which version of Skuid are you working with here? I have tested this in 9.3.3 and the Ui-only fields do show their default values for me. Do you happen to have your model set to create a default row?
Perhaps there’s an action set up to remove rows from the model?
Also, I’d recommend checking in the skuid.model.map() on the console when your page has loaded, to see if the fields in question are actually null.
