The table mass update option does not seem to adhere to the record type choices available to the logged in user. Instead, all picklist values are available for the user to select and make no sense.
Is there anyway to control this?

+20So yeah. Record types are not something that can be restricted by a profile. It’s simply what a profile can create. They can otherwise read records others have created with the other record types.
The picklist values available per record type doesn’t have any filtering since users can’t typically mass update multiple records with multiple record types in standard salesforce. So I’m not sure if there’s any planned user experience for this in Skuid’s roadmap.
I would recommend a custom field renderer solution. See this post. I’m sure what you’re asking for can be done fairly easily using Skuid’s javascript functions.
