chart multipicklist agg by each picklist value and not concatenated set of values

I’m pretty sure that’s the way multipicklist data is stored.  Parsing the values into separate items would be some pretty tricky code.  When we see this sort of requirements we usually point to storing the picklist values in a reference object and building a junction object between the two so that the many to many relationship is achieved.  I know its a pain…
