Would like the search filters to be able to show up on top of each column according to the search field (match up with its filtering column)

We’ve talked about “excel type” filtering capabiliites, where the column header has controls that have more functionality. Today you can put sort controls there, but in the future you might be able to filter (search) or do other things there. Does this seem akin to what you are asking?
What is your use case here?
yes would like Excel Type Filters at the top of each column that would absolutely BE AWESOME!!!
