Has anybody experienced this?

When I move an event in the calendar: ( I.e: I drag and drop an event to a new location_

In this example I am trying to move the event to 4:00 a.m.

When I let go of the mouse button I expect the event to snap to 4:00 a.m. but instead it moves to 3:00 a.m. like so:

Any thoughts on what can be causing this issue?

Thank you.

Hi Leo,

I’m not sure what’s causing this issue since I was able to drag and drop events okay in my org. Here are some questions to clarify:

  • What Skuid version are you on?

  • Where is the data from your calendar coming from?

  • Can you post a screenshot of your Salesforce User settings (so we can see your timezone and locale)?

  • Does changing your timezone and/or locale affect your problem?

  • Do you happen to live somewhere that doesn’t do Daylight Savings?

Thanks!
Amy

Skuid Version: 8.11

Data coming from Events.

I live in the Dallas Texas Area.

If I change the timezone for example to Pacific / Los Angeles time the gap that the time jumps is greater (3 hours). So I I try to drag the time to 10:00 am it jumps to 7 am after I drop.

Thanks

Well,
Sorry, I found out that there is a trigger, for some reason, updating the events start and end date times.  Not a Skuid issue.  Thanks for your help.

No problem, I’m glad you got it sorted out!
