I think in-app guidance, like product tours and instructional popups, can be a really valuable way to connect with your users, and I recently had the chance dabble in using a library named Shepherd.

Since it’s MIT-licensed, I realized it could be a great fit for a Skuid page tour. So I wrote up a Skuid Labs report on how to do just that. I cover things from the conceptual, like what to write about, to the implementation.

Be warned, this is pretty JavaScript heavy, but it could be a solution if you’re looking to try this yourself.
