The Parent Object is Opportunity and Child object is Opportunity Program.
I’m trying to create a Chart by amount from Opportunity and split Amount by Programs from the Opportunity Program on the Y axis. I’m not sure how to access a field from the child object while using a chart.
Is it possible to access the field by Merge Syntax?
Hi Toms. It sounds like you might be trying to use Merge variables or templates in the Split Type, correct? A related product issue, CORE-1667 - “Chart Split Type ‘Template’ Breaks Chart,” was recently resolved in Skuid release 11.1.14. So you may be encountering this issue if you’re not using this release. You may want to try updating a non-critical sandbox to this version of Skuid to see if the issue is resolved by updating to that version. Let us know if this doesn’t help!
As a reminder, Salesforce does NOT allow reverting back to prior versions of managed packages. Skuid always recommends installing new versions in a non-business critical sandbox environment to test all mission critical functionality before installing into a production environment. We also recommend that you update out of date themes when you upgrade. Please let us know if you continue to encounter any problems with this issue after upgrading.
