Hi we are experiencing very slow performance in production. Page load takes up to 20 seconds. Anyone else having the same issue?
jili,
I have been working with a customer who has Winter 18 in sandboxes. I have not seen any issues with page load as you are seeing. We have 2 versions of Skuid running: 8.15.17 and 10.0.9.
Is this happening to all pages?
Thanks,
Bill
Thanks for the reply! It’s happening to all pages. I have to say our page size is big. 1.1 Mb. But based on the network log above, skuid js seems to load pretty slow. Do you see a faster speed with your pages?
jili,
I am seeing about 5.5 seconds for a page ~1.1Mb. This is on Skuid 10.0.9.
What is your bandwidth to the internet? I am on a cable modem with 50-80MBps. You should check that you are still getting good performance from your ISP. Try http://beta.speedtest.net/
I would also check your Salesforce server performance at https://status.salesforce.com/status. Make sure it is not degraded.
I don’t think this is an issue with Skuid.
Thanks,
Bill
Can you please share the network details for the page load? I’m interested in the loading time for the those static resources. I’m not sure why it takes that long to load < .5 k.
jili,
Here are the network details for a page that we have that is about as big as your page. This is from a sandbox running 10.0.9.
Thanks,
Bill
It appears that yours are all loaded from the memory. Ours are not cached each resource taking more than half a second.
Skuid team, can someone please take a look at this? We'd like to escalate this performance issue to the Skuid team for further help. We have not changed anything recently so this performance downgrade is perplexing to us. Or please email me about the correct escalation paths!
It appears that skuid_ js resource loading time changes according to the page size.

Have you gone through our page performance guide?
https://docs.skuid.com/v10.0.4/en/skuid/best-practices/skuid-page-performance-guide.html
We found a network issue causing this performance issue. We will work on the page optimization though. Thanks for the help on this!
