I ran into this very minor issue, so this is just an FYI:

If for some reason, you start your field alias with a whitespace (or accidentally paste a whitespace into the alias), some *things* happen like the values won’t render in a table:

Check your alias, remove the leading whitespace, and everything’s fine.
