I have a table showing completed tasks that go back many years. I have not found a good search combination of settings that allows us to search subject, type, and description (which is Long Text).
SOQL looks like it will search subject but not description and SOSL will not search items older than an year.
Am I missing something?

Scotty, I think you are correct about SOSL not searching archived items, unfortunately - I have not found any way to get SOSL to search archived records, as is possible with SOQL.
