You encounter issues when trying to install Skuid.

There are various reasons you might be unable to install the Skuid managed package in a Salesforce org. Here are five of the most common.
Reason 1: Salesforce Edition Not Supported
You can’t install Skuid on free trial versions of Salesforce, in Professional editions, or Group editions. We recommend you get a free dev org instead.
Even if you think your version is supported, this is the #1 reason installs fail, so it’s good to double check your edition in Salesforce Settings.
Free trials are the Professional edition of Salesforce, which isn’t supported in Skuid versions above Brooklyn. Group editions also aren’t supported in these versions. That’s why we recommend installing Skuid in a Developer edition of Salesforce. Sign up for a Developer org at https://developer.salesforce.com/signup.

Reason 2: User Permissions
Double check that your Salesforce user has the Download AppExchange Packages
permission.
Error Message
Looks like you don’t have permission to install apps

Reason 3: Out of Memory
By default, a Salesforce org can have up to 250 MB of static resources in total. There are also limits on the number of custom objects and custom tabs. In some cases installing a new package can put it over these limits.
Error Message:
Your company currently has exceeded its data storage limits including an extra overflow buffer. Per our terms and conditions, we cannot permit additional data creation within our system until your company first reduces its current data storage. Please contact your company’s salesforce.com administrator to resolve this. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
This error is caused by a static resource storage limit.
To resolve this error, you must remove static resources until you are under the 250 MB limit.
Reason 4: Strict Security Settings
In some cases, strict security settings may cause a package install. See these special instructions for installing Skuid in Government Cloud orgs.
Reason 5: Custom Domain
This is a less frequent error, but sometimes you need to select: Use custom domain
when attempting to log into the org where you want to install the package as the generic Salesforce login page won’t work in those situations.
