I think there must be something wrong with my installation? I have a flexi task that assigns tasks to people that may not necessarily be an owner or member of the site. The tasks in the Workflow Task List are NOT editable by the person they are assigned to. Is that how it is supposed to work?
Am I supposed to let all people be able to complete any task?

The Workflow Task list default permissions should be Contribute.

Do I have this correct: 1. grant CONTRIBUTE level for all AD groups for users needing to fill out list form as well as for approvers and then 2. grant CONTRIBUTE level at the WFTask (Lists/Workflow%20Tasks/) list for Approvers AD group as they need to approve/reject.
