Can't save new workflow

Whenever I try to save a new workflow I get the error: soap:ServerServer was unable to process request. ---> Column 'NintexWorkflowID' does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user.

I have tried to manually create this column in the NintexWorkflows library for the site collection, but I still get the same error. What could the problem be?

@KasperDK  Try the following:

Navigate to https://siteCollectionURL/NintexWorkflows in a web browser to view the hidden NintexWorkflows Library.
Go to the Library settings and view the columns.
If the column with the error does not exist add it as a single line of text data type.

Thank you for your reply. I have done that, but it still doesn't work (see screenshot).
