Task list location in Approval Workflow

I'm using a site collection with sub sites.

When going to the settings of my Nintex for O365 list workflow created in a sub site, I can select a task list that was created in the sub site.

How can I add my tasks to a general overview task list that is created in the root site collection in order to have a general overview of approval tasks created in the several sub sites?

Good question, but presently because how the SharePoint App model is constructed, the task and history lists for workflows need to be in the same web or subsite. But aggregating tasks for a user use to be in a user's mysite, but that was deprecated last year in SharePoint. There is currently a uservoice to vote for this webpart addition to have the overview of a users tasks.
