When using the start workflow action within my main workflow I am getting the following error.
Some parameters failed the validation check. - -InputItemID] : The parameter or the parameter value is null.
If I run the workflow I'm calling manually it runs fine. Any ideas would be welcome on this error would be welcome.

is "InputItemId" a variable of the workflow you are trying to start? Do you display it on the workflow initiation form? Error message sounds like this input param is mandatory and needs to be provided.

Bit of a school boy error. I selected site workflow to start instead of list workflow. List workflow requires the item id in the configuration of the action.
