I have created a few workflows using Nintex, but now I have creadted a new one which is running fine until it gets to the point where the workflow needs to Send an Email.

I have configured my email within the workflow and published.

Ran a test, but the Send an Email does not happen.

The workflow goes straight to the next step which is log to History and then completes the Workflow

Any Suggestions?

I have Start a Task Process, and under the Approved I then have Send an Email.Send an Email

Kind regards

Claire it is really hard to see how you configured the workflow to do without seeing what is inside of each of the tasks. Could you open each task and show how you have it set up? What I am looking for should look like this:

Steve,

I don't have the above.

The Workflow starts off with a Parallel Block, it's dependant on a value

I have a Run if under each Branch of the Parallel Block

Then under each Run If, there is Start a Task Process

then under Approved, I have Send an Email

and the same for Rejected.

I've tested the Approval side of the workflow and I get an email from the system, as I have put myself into the system as the Approver, I'm also the creator in testing but I don't get the email.

I will get another member of the Team to create the request, maybe it's an issue with my email address.

Thank you for your feedback so far.

Kind regards

Claire

Problem resolved, it was an internal issue with my system.

But what was the issue? And how did you resolve it?

I had to remove all my rules that I had set up in my outlook.  I'm not IT but this is how I resolved the issue.

Regards

Claire
