Hello all, 

 

I am working on a project that requires the ability to copy a Sub-Page from one document library to another Document Library.  The copied version of the Sub-page must retain the contents of the original for retention/Archival purposes. Has anyone developed a reliable method of doing this?

 

I am able to copy the document with properties/metadata but the Sub-page itself is empty.

This is possible to do with minimal effort in Nintex 2013. I understand there are significant differences between O365 and 2013 but there must be a solution.

 

Any information would be greatly appreciated... 

I figured I would go ahead and answer this question as we have found a solution that fits our business requirements. Simply put, it isn't possible to copy a page to another library that isn't a Site Pages library; You can copy the metadata/properties but the page content will not actually display. This behavior is due to how SPO handles pages. 



 



The solution: Create a new Site that will house the Archived policies and copy to the Archive site's Site pages library.
