I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I set up a workflow and one of my users needs to be able to see the history to track task progress. I showed her the page that shows open tasks on my screen, but she couldn't see those details until I made her a site collection admin.

This is not an ideal situation, our policy is to restrict site admin rights to IT for a couple reasons. Does anyone know what permissions someone needs to see the workflow history? I ensured she had full control of the list, access to both workflow tasks and workflow history lists, not sure what else to give her.

Hi,

Microsoft advises that users need Contribute permissions.

Any deviation from this, like editing the default contribute permission will cause users problems.
