Limitation of Exporting and Importing of Nintex workflow office 365

Hi Community,

Nintex comes up with Export and Import facility. I used it at learner level and it worked for me. But I want to know that in which case or scenario Exporting the workflow from one site and importing to another site will fail.

Is there any documented resource regarding Export/Import limitations?

If yes then please share so that I can come up with the conclusion regarding the scenario when Export/Import will not work for me.

Hi!

What do you mean by "limitations"? The only thing you must be aware is that if you import your workflow to a list/ library different to one where you exported the workflow (ex. having different columns, default values, content-types) you can face a situation when some of the actions will require to be configured again.

Haven't ever faced any boundary with export/import procedure though.

Maybe you have found the resources you asked for so that you could share them with us?

Regards,

Tomasz
