How can I set a field to current date/time

This is probably simple, but I'd just like to set a field to the date and time when an action on the workflow ran to update a date/time field.  I tried using the 'Set Time Portion of Date/Time field' operation, but it seems I need to set a specific time and cannot select 'current time'.

Can anyone help?

Hi Nathan,

You can use the "Add Time to Date" action.  Just add zero to it.  You can use the current date/time as per the image below.

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks Chris,

Isn’t the 0 to mark 12:00 midnight? I’d like to set the current time instead

I tested it just before I posted the reply.  It's using the current date and time.  I'll also check it tomorrow to see whether it does anything strange overnight

Hi Nathan, tested it again today just now and the current date/time is saved so you're all good to use the Add time to date action.

Cheers,

Chris
